Today's staff pick from Game Steward Kayt is Wingspan.
In this game, you play as a bird enthusiast running your own set of bird preservation habitats. You're trying to collect and discover unique, and desirable birds. Building nests, hatching new birds, and finding their preferred food source are just some of the mechanics incorporated. Not only does the game sport drop-dead gorgeous watercolours it is also incredibly well-researched and informative about the actual birds featured in the game.
Wingspan is complimented by two gorgeous expansions that introduce new birds from Europe and Oceania. The expansions also add a couple of new mechanics and abilities to the game.
